Answer: If you support the text because the author means by this that the science fiction genre is dead, because there is nothing new in it, they no longer innovate or invent new things, now it is just more of the same, they believe the same thing but with another history, and that bores over time, which makes less people interested in this great genre that is dead for not having anything new that attracts attention. He wants to revive the science fiction genre with stories from the past that can transmit lessons and teach, it would also be something renewed but new for many people who have not heard that type of historical events that humanity lived.
