Directions:
You are members of the jury presiding over the five indictments as to whom is to blame for the murder of an estimated one to three million Taino Indians. Review the copy of the charges, timeline, Columbus Letter, and Columbus on Trial video supplied and then each juror must create two questions to ask all of the groups facing those charges. The questions must be unique and specific to that defendant and reflective of the information learned throughout the readings. For each individual indicted you are then to explain the goal of what you hope to learn from the defendants based on your two posed questions. Once they all have pleaded their cases you will deliberate as to how much of the blame lies upon each group through a percentage scale. You must give specific reasoning to support your final decision.
