Kenya's population is about 53771300 inhabitants (2020). The analysis of the age pyramid offers the following aspects:

1. the population aged 0-14 predominates (approximately 6.6% male and 6.5% female).

2. there is a tendency to decrease life expectancy, by the fact that the aging population (over 65 years) is very low (0.5% for both male and female).

3. life expectancy is low due to the poor development of the health system reason why the disease rate is high but also the mortality rate.

Since the population of under 14 dominates, there is a tendency to decrease the life expectancy, since the aging population is so low. Unfortunately, Kenya's very poor-developed health system could also be a reason why  the life expectancy is very low. Because of these reasons, it has a high birth rate and high death rate.
