for Margaret her main problem is her abusive father so even and chris are watchers over her. so I feel like the central character is evan because he is worried that his parents may get divorced. and Chris is in fear of being in the shadow of his brother who died before Chris was born. so I feel that if all of them which is Margaret, Chris, and Evan can all get together and fight off the problems that they are each struggling with
