Though there were many differences in the development of the New England, Middle, and Southern
colonies, they had much in common What conditions and experiences were common to American
colonists regardless of their colony or region
Most of the colonies had easy access to the Atlantic Ocean both along their coasts and by using river systems that were navigable for miles inland. The only thing is that they all ran their govt differently.
