What is the required fraction ?

Taking LCM of 8 & 2, which is 8,
= [tex]\frac{(7*1)+(1*4)}{8}[/tex]
= [tex]\frac{7+4}{8}[/tex]
= [tex]\frac{11}{8}[/tex]
∴ The required fraction is [tex]\frac{11}{8}[/tex]
