There are three rhetorical devices made for persuading listeners. Ethos (appeal to credibility), logos (appeal to support and evidence), and pathos (appeal to emotion).
As we already know Rhetorical devices use words in a certain way to express meaning or to persuade. It’s a technique used to make the reader or audience feel the an emotion. Some rhetorical devices in writing include:
Alliteration
Amplification
Metaphor
Simile
Onomatopoeia
Hyperbole.
