Very Short Metaphor Project

My metaphor is 'Spring is a Shooting Star'

I need assistance in describing why Spring can be compared to a shooting star.
So far I came up with the fact that a shooting star inspires hope of change when people make wishes on them and Spring also brings about new hope for changes as it is the season of new beginnings where everything seems to come alive. Basically, they both provide opportunities to make things happen, grow, or change.

I want to know if my reasoning makes sense or if it can be improved.
