Does anyone know how to solve this?? Pls help ASAP ;(
(sorry that it’s not in focus)
I'm assuming your equation is (y^4*y^n)/y^2=y^-3 correct?
Exponent rule: a^b*a^c=a^(b+c)
(y^4*y^n)/(y^2)=y^-3 becomes (y^(4+n))/(y^2)=y^-3
Exponent rule: a^b/a^c=a^(b-c)
New equation becomes y^(2+n)=y^-3
Get rid of the bases and you're left with 2+n=-3
Subtract 2 on both sides: n=-5
Answer is n=-5
