Based on their composition, the planets in the solar system can be classified into two different categories. These categories are solid and gaseous. Let us see which planets come under which category:
Gaseous: Uranus (made up of methane and ammonia gases), Saturn (made up of hydrogen and helium gas), Neptune (made up of silicates, methane, and ammonia gases), Jupiter (made up of hydrogen and helium gas).
