I think languages are empowering. How are we supposed to speak if we do not know our own language? English and and other languages out there enpowers people to have a voice and speak out to protect themselves and others.
If we did not have languages how would we communicate? Sign Language can be easily misinterpreted.
There is no reason to be intimidated ot overwhelmed by language unless you are learning a new one and even then, it is an empowering element in learning a new language so you can speak to more than one race of people.
