Scrooge is a stingy, curmudgeonly man with no regard for the poor and his family. His nephew, on the other hand, is completely different and cares a lot about his family, he is cheerful and generous.

We can arrive at this answer because:

Scrooge puts money as the only important thing in his life.
He can't find happiness in anything, he's very greedy, selfish, and curmudgeonly.
However, his nephew Fred is quite the opposite.
Fred is generous and lively, he loves to help people, celebrate and love.
