The substances that go through a transfusion but on the other hand, do not pass through an infusion are blood and blood products.
- Infusion simply means when fluids which includes drugs, are put in the bloodstream of a person. Transfusion and infusion is used in the introduction of nutrients, medicines and blood into the body of a person.
