Respuesta :
Function of mitosis be in the mosquito:
Like any other cells the cells of the mosquito also undergoes the cell cycle. When it is in the resting Interphase growth occurs in the cells and replication of chromosomes occur. Then in prophase the nuclear membrane is lost and the chromosomes become thickened and coiled.
In Metaphase the doubled chromosome reach the equator of the cell and spindle fibers gets attached to the centro-meres. In anaphase they separate and move towards the opposite poles. Then during cytokinesis the two daughter cells are formed.
In mosquitoes, the function of the mitosis is to grow mosquitoes.
Mitosis:
It is cell division in which cells divide to form two diploid daughter cells.
It is composed of 2 phages,
Interphage:
In this cells grow and prepare itself for the division. Cell copy its DNA.
Mitosis phase:
In this phage DNA condensed to chromosome and chromosomes segregate between daughter cells.
Therefore, In mosquitoes, the function of the mitosis is to grow mosquitoes.
