Hydroponics doesn’t need to have every plant connect to soil in the ground. With a smaller surface area one can just stack plants upwards

The concept of hydroponics describes the concept of growing plants in a sterile environment usually without the use of soil. Plants can be grown anywhere using these concept with the help of a nutrient solution.

Hydroponic requires about 25% less spacing than in the conventional planting protocol, where spacing has to be wise enough in other to allow for weeding and reduce effect of pest. However, hydroponics does not require weeding and the prevalence of pest is generally absent.

Hence, hydronics can easily adapt to limited surface area due to the absence of pest.
