Suppose that y veries inversely whit x,and y=6 when x=8.what will x be when y=2?

y = k/x...
.
so?
.
6 = k/8.
.
So find k, which is 6 x 8... so k = 48.
.
y = 2. So?
.
2 = 48/x
.
So, 2x = 48, and by dividing 2 on both sides, x = 24.
