People in love act selflessly.
Although
this Shakespeare's romantic comedy classic ends with a happy ending, the
characters show how love can inflict pain and hurt others. Given that, the
characters acted upon their love and refused to think of themselves first. Loving even though they are aware of the pain that it might cause them is one selfless act.
