I love space. It rocks.

It is super important to colonize the moon because we will run out of room on earth. My neighbor who grows organic vegetables says that we are ruining the earth’s environment and we will need a new place to live. I totally agree.

I think that another reason we should colonize the moon is that it would be cool. Can you imagine living up there and being able to see the earth? Wow. My best friend says that living on the moon would be an awesome experience for anyone.

The moon is great!

The claim is weak and too opinionated it should state your claim clearly and not show the authors opinion. It uses the word I and is only two sentences, you are not supposed to use words like I, my, and mine in argumentative essays and your claim should be at least five sentences. The article does not have correct grammar. It is informal and it uses words like cool, wow, awesome, and totally which makes the article seem very unprofessional, when writing an argumentative essay you want to be as formal and professional as possible. The author uses two irrelevant sources that can not be supported, when you write an essay you have to have sources that are supported and valid. There conclusion is not a real conclusion it is only one sentence, in your conclusion you would want to have more than 3 sentences. And it does not sum up the rest of the article like a conclusion should. The point of view is written in first person when it should be written in third. And there are no transitions, when you write your essay transitions are very important because they make the article flow smoother.

The argument in the question above is completely ineffective as it does not put forth proper and compelling points to support their argument to spend taxpayer money to colonize the moon. An argument needs to have a proper claim and enough evidences or examples to support the claim as well.
