If you think about it, some of the greatest events in sports has been caught on TV. An example is in 1998, Michael Jordan, player of the Chicago Bulls, clinched the 6th title in the NBA Finals. Jordan’s shot won the game for his team that night, and later on got called “The Shot” because it was so legendary, Michael Jordan’s shot was included in the “Top 20 greatest events in sports history.” Instant replays are helpful in this case, if you ever want to watch it over again, or see it for the first time. In this situation, if instant replays didn’t exist, we wouldn’t even have access to rewatch a “greatest moment” clip of the game or watch it for the first time. Another reason is if your watching the superbowl, or watching the world series, those are the most important games of the season. You wouldn’t want to miss that, right? Well, that’s why Instant replays could come in handy.
