So assuming you just want the core story, here you go. Hamlet is prince of Denmark. Hamlet’s father is killed. Hamlet’s dad is also called hamlet ( yea confusing ik) . So dead King Hamlet visits Hamlet and tells him that Claudius murdered him. Hamlet now has to avenge his father. Fast forward through the play, there is a duel where Claudius arranged to have Hamlet poisoned. However, Claudius and Hamlet both end up dying along with another character. The end (:

Summary. Prince Hamlet has been summoned home to Denmark to attend his father's funeral. He is in a state of mourning and despair over the death of his father. He is further disturbed that his mother, Queen Gertrude, has married his uncle, Claudius, who is also the brother of the late king.
