A 1.5m wire carries a 8 A current when a potential difference of 96 v is applied. What is the resistance of the wire? Answer and units? Please help!

I dont know why the length is given unless there is a second part to the problem, but Resistance = Potential difference / Current.

So:

V= 96 volts

I= 8 amps

R = 96/8

R= 12 ohms
