Really simple!
as an improper fraction it would look like this:
[tex] \frac{821}{100} [/tex]
When changing it to a mixed fraction:
We divide the numerator by the denominator and keep the whole number to the side and leave the remainder as the numerator
the mixed number will look like this:
[tex] 8\frac{21}{100} [/tex]

we know that
A mixed number is a number consisting of a whole number and a proper fraction
so
we have
[tex]8.21[/tex]
[tex]8.21=8+0.21=8+\frac{21}{100}=8\frac{21}{100}[/tex]
therefore
the answer is
[tex]8\frac{21}{100}[/tex]
