Technological design is in the engineering field. It is not in the biology field, because it doesn't fit in Earth Science, or Chemistry, because it doesn't really involve chemicals or substances. ... It is engineering, because it focuses on technology and design, which is a main focus in the engineering field.
So it would be in the engineering field.
