The steps taken by women to create the first textile were;
• Harvesting and making the wool clean
• Carding and spinning the wool to form threads
• Weaving the threads to produce a cloth
• Designing the cloth into the desired fashion and sewing the cloth into clothes

The process applied in production of fabric follows these major steps; harvesting of the raw material , transforming of threads through spinning , joining threads to form fabric and finally processing the fabric(bleaching, treatment with chemicals to remove wax/oils).After this stage, the fabric is taken to textile and clothing companies.
