When graphed, rate of change can be referred to the slope, or
[tex]\frac{rise}{run}[/tex] .
The slope can be found using the formula:
m = [tex]\frac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}[/tex]
[tex]\frac{rise}{run}[/tex] is equal to how the Y and X values change from a given point.
