As you must keep in mind
→[tex][x^{m}]^{n}=x^{mn}[/tex] ,where x is base , and m,n are exponent.
→ [tex][\sqrt{16} ]^{2} =16^{\frac{1}{2}\cdot 2}=16^{1}=16[/tex]
Now the value of ,[tex]\sqrt{16} = 16^{\frac{1}{2}} ={4^{2}}^{\frac{1}{2}} = 4^{1}=4[/tex]
[tex]16\frac{1}{2} =\sqrt{16}[/tex], which is the radical form of [tex]16\frac{1}{2}[/tex]
