Respuesta :
Plants and animals, both are living organism, they have organs to reproduce and both need food to be alive and energy. They both have cells and unique DNA in every individual.
Two structures that have similar functions in plants and animals
- Cell
- DNA
Cell
- The functions of plant and animal cells are quite similar.
- Organelles are membrane-bound in both cells.
- Both have cytoplasm to moist the cell organelles.
DNA
- Both plant and animal have DNA as their genetic material and function of both are same to pass on their traits.
- The structure of both DNA are same.
Difference:
- Plant cell have cell wall which is made up of cellulose. But animal cell does not contain cell wall.
- In animals mitochondria produce the energy of cell but in plants chloroplast is present to produce energy through photosynthesis.
- Some compounds which are present in the plant DNA are absent in animal DNA.
