The sun's rotation around Earth causes the 4 seasons- Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. It affects the plants as plants require sunlight to make food and grow. Therefore due to the four seasons, plants undergo different changes. Sunlight is also important for people as they harness the energy of the sun for different uses such as e.g. solar panels convert the sunlight to electricity. It is different from other stars since other stars do not perform such functions.
