let us take base = x.

now we know a triangle has three legs and it is given that base is twice shorter then the leg it means the rest both legs are twice then base.

so other two legs = 2x + 2x

Now the statement is that perimeter of this triangle is 50.
As we know perimeter is equals to sum of all legs.
so x+2x+2x = 50
5x = 50
Dividing both sides with 5
x = 10

So the base is 10 cm and the other two sides are 2×10 = 20 cm. each.
