If you have a graph of the function [tex]f(x)=x^2 [/tex], then you should do such transformations to get graph of the function [tex]g(x)=(x+3)^2+4 [/tex]:
1. translate the graph of the function [tex]f(x)=x^2 [/tex] 3 units left, then you get the graph of the function [tex]y=(x+3)^2[/tex];
2. translate the graph of the function [tex]y=(x+3)^2[/tex] 4 units up, then you get the graph of the function [tex]y=(x+3)^2+4[/tex].
