Business Associates are now required to:
I) enter into an agreement that requires them to comply with privacy regulations (HIPAA)
II) report any disclosure that does not comply
III) create agreements with subcontractors, if the subcontractor will be creating, receiving or maintaining and PHI.
IV) have additional liability insurance covering them for potential breaches.
