During the dictado, a bilingual teacher dictates a sentence(s) while students try their best to write the sentence being said. This method works along with the students' listening and writing domains of language, as well as it increases the students' self-esteem because they get to correct their work at the end of the dictado. This method correlates to the evaluar stage of the design cycle, as students are evaluating their learning by listening to the dictado, taking note of accents and commas, and having discussions with their peers of why the writing is written in this particular way.
