queer? Does Nick's sexual orientation matter? To
what extent is
the novel about Nick? To what extent
do we perceive Nick's actions in the novel differently if we
perceive his character differently than our initial
perception from the opening passage? Does
Nick become more relatable as a person
versus a stock character who simply writes what he
observes? Do we become more critical of
Gatsby or the other characters?
