Normal Curve HW 2
On the back of this page is a large chart of z-scores and percentiles. The percentiles are shown as decimals in the middle region of the chart. The z-score is found in the first columns and first row of the chart. The first columns shows the ones and tenths place of the score number. The top row is the hundredths place. The region on the right with the word: ADD is thousands place of the z-score number and the 1 to 2 digit numbers found below must be added to the last 2 decimal places of the percent.
Find the percentile of the following z-score. Include a small normal curve picture with each labeling mean and data value. Write the percentile into the region left of your data point.
1. z-score: 1.30
2. z-score: 2.43
3. z-score: -1.52
4. z-score: 0.138
5. The mean is 100. The standard deviation is 8. Use the chart to find the percentile of data value x = 90.
