I believe that Chris's sudden disappearance from his life and family was unjustified. He left many of his loved ones confused, hurt and
upset as stated" this initial journey would ultimately turn him inward and away, drawing Chris and those who loved him into a morass of
anger, misunderstanding, and sorrow" (Krakauer pg. 116). It was clear that his family cared a lot for Chris and although he despised the
actions of what they did, leaving without a notice was irrational. He left them clueless and scared for whether or not he could survive
out on his own in the wild. With these reasons given. I believe Chris McCandless was unjustified with his unexpected departure.
