Black Friday, or the day after Thanksgiving, is the biggest retail day of the year, as shoppers look for gifts for the holiday season. Every year on Black Friday, hordes of shoppers camp out in huge lines and race through stores to get the greatest deals. To prepare for Black Friday, you’ll have to do a lot of research. You don’t want to get caught up comparing models while everyone else quickly takes the best deals. When you get to the store, you’ll want to know exactly what you need. Imagine you are looking to get the best Black Friday deal. Your goal is to find a new computer for yourself or someone that you know and get the best deal at the Black Friday sale.

In this project, you will produce a report on which computer you should purchase. You can pick yourself, someone you know like a friend or family member, or an imaginary character. You will discuss how the features of the computer you chose make it the perfect hardware for your or their needs.
Evaluate criteria for purchasing or upgrading computer system hardware (e.g., Wi-Fi, mobile devices, home and office machines).

Create an IT shopping plan for yourself, someone that you know, or a character. Choose one person and which computer they should purchase. Discuss five features of this computer. Discuss one example of where that feature would help this person.

YOUR COMPUTER CHOICE: Search online and compare computers to find the best computer for yourself or the person you chose. Write a paragraph or make a table describing the type of computer you chose for yourself or the person you have chosen. Discuss five features that each computer has that make it a good choice for that person. For each of the five features, mention at least one thing this person likes to do that would require the feature. Some features you can discuss include:
the type of computer (either desktop, laptop, or tablet),
the operating system,
the included software,
the battery,
the memory,
the processor, or
the input/output devices.
