and his family's origins are clearly important to him and are a big part of his personal identity. Evidence can be seen here
in the book's preface: "The Way to Rainy Mountain is dedicated to my parents, whose spirit informs it."

called Reservation Dogs about Native American youth is a good example of personal identity and cultural identity
