Failing to report child abuse or neglect when that failure results in death or significant bodily injury:
a) Is not a legal or ethical violation.
b) May not lead to any consequences for the mandated reporter.
c) Can result in criminal charges or other legal consequences for the mandated reporter.
d) Is only applicable if the mandated reporter is a medical professional.
