When a psychologist has been found to have engaged in sexual misconduct with his or her therapy client, the BOP (Board of Psychology) will:
a) Not take any action unless criminal charges are filed.
b) Conduct a review but not necessarily impose disciplinary actions.
c) Typically impose disciplinary actions, which may include revocation of the psychologist's license.
d) Recommend the psychologist for an award for professional excellence.
