Dana, Caryl, and Janson have been assigned to complete an inventory of the products in stock in a convenience store where they work. The supervisor has left it up to the three of them to decide how to split the work. They have a deadline of three days to complete the report. Dana wants to enter the information in the computer for preparing the report but does not want to count items on the shelves because that is boring. Caryl wants only to work in the open-shelf sections because the freezer items are too cold. Janson prefers to organize the work and make assignments for the other two to follow. The three have spent at least two hours arguing about how to complete the inventory. They have yet to count the first shelf of products.
