In class we computed the temperature of the surface of the earth with one atmospheric layer. Let's practice with the concept by extending it to two layers. Assume that the albedo is 0.3 and that the solar constant is 1400 W / m2, so the effective intensity over the full surface is 245 W / m2 (as in class). Also assume that the emissivity of both the earth and atmosphere layers are all one (perfect blackbody radiators).
