This question may not make sense since I'm bad at explaining things. I've been wondering for so long.. How do airplane wings flex whilst staying in the airfoil shape? If I were to grab a sheet of paper and shape in into the airfoil shape and try to make it flex, it would either rip, deform or flatten. I cannot make it flex while keeping it in the airfoil shape, how can airplane wings do that though?
