Unless specifically requested by DoD to meet operational requirements, US airports listed in the IFR Enroute Supplement Airport/Facility Directory (Section B)must have:
A. A minimum of 5,000 feet of hard-surfaced runway
B. An appropriate procedure set up to handle and service military aircraft
C. A published DoD (High/Low Altitude) Instrument Approach Procedure and/or ASR/PAR RADAR approach minima
D. An operational control tower
