The internal diameter of the smailer diameter and larger diameter pipes is 4 cm and 10 cm respectively. (Assume the viscosity of water is 0.001 kg ( m.s) and the density of water is 1000 kg/m 3 ). i) Determine the head loss (in meters) due to sudden expansion. ii) If the fiow is in a reverse direction for the same flow rate of water, find the head loss.
