Radiography of the Human Cranium
I want to simulate the variation of x ray intensities (log scales will be used if convenient) transmitted across the width of the x-ray beam using simple grey level or false colour scales. I am dealing with a model of the human cranium as a sphere on python using cortical bone, meninges and brain matter from NIST. I've calculated the transmission of a parallel beam of x-rays in the cranium transverse plane using 50 KeV and 120 KeV energies and mass attenuation coefficients.
I'm just stuck on how i can simulate the variation of x-ray intensities as its transmitted across the width of the x ray beam with simple grey level or false colour scales on python.
