- Advanced emergency medical care giving medicine through IVs and performing respiratory procedures.
- Leadership to the team, making decisions, and managing under the stress of extreme emergencies.
- CPR and clearing the airways, and understanding the difference between a stroke and diabetic attack.
- Re-establishing normal breathing in an asthma attack.
