If the thickness of the block is 5 mm and its Poisson's ratio v=0.35 : a) Determine the components of the average unit strain tensor for all points of the block. b) If the Young's and shear moduli of the block are Y=101GPa and μ=37GPa, determine the components of the stress tensor with respect to the xyz coordinate system for all points of the block. c) Explain what each of the components of these tensors mean, and if there are negative components of the stress tensor, explain what they mean.
