Assignment #2 – Building the As-Is Handoff Diagram
Assumptions:
You have identified problem process area that you intend to redesign
You have a full understanding of the process area, and the context in which the problem occurs – all of which was defined in the 1st Assignment
Part I:
Complete a one page poster summarizing the results of framing your problem process – an example of what is expected and the format is found on P 196 in your text
Part II:
Build a level 1 Handoff Diagram representing the as-is state of your problem process. Use either the top-down, or bottom up technique to generate your swimlane diagram.
