design and execute the NSW Flight Centre annual
corporate awards ball, recognising the high
achievers in a peer group of 2000 guests.
The ci Solution
Combining the alluring mystery and vibrant
opulence of a masquerade ball, cievents created
an atmosphere that played on the theatrics of
illusion.
Using a team of specialist visual designers,
liahtina, sound and staging worked seamlesslv to fit the large space at The Dome, Sydney Olympic
Park creating an environment of contrasts.
A large projection cylinder was used to display
images that reinforced the theme of 'masquerade'
The gala ball had both an emcee and a band that
entertained the audience for the night.
The Results
The creative staging, lighting and technical elements of this large-scale event worked in collaboration to create an exceptional gala. Capitalizing on the youthful and enthusiastic
audience, the event was visually engaging and
inspired. The feel of the night can be likened more
to a "concert" than your typical corporate awards
ceremony which was reflected in the design
elements.
