Interactions Between Biosphere, Hydrosphere and Atmosphere Reflect on what you have learned thus far in ES-110 and describe a period in Earth's history when interactions between 1) the biosphere and hydrosphere or 2) the biosphere and atmosphere created dramatic global change in both spheres. What triggered the global change? What impacts did the global change have on the Earth System? Discuss any positive feedback mechanisms that enhanced the speed or scale of the changes in both spheres. Also, explain how the atmosphere protects the biosphere from the external threats of the Sun and space. Provide a specific example.
